Originally from England, Max Shepherd-Cross co-founded HotelFlex in 2016 in the US. The startup helps to generate more revenue for hotels and provides a better experience for guests. In 2017, HotelFlex was accepted to Y-Combinator, the famous US accelerator in Silicon Valley.

During the COVID pandemic 2020 he saw the challenges emerging because of the increased hybrid working. So Officely was built to help companies to get back to their pre-COVID levels of collaboration, but in an era of reduced office capacities.

Officely provides solutions to the office schedule by learning who works together. Ensuring physical distancing and team collaboration.
