This startup was founded with the desire to make diagnostics more accessible. A renowned scientist in the field of In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) with >20 years of experience was joined by two co-founders who have build and exited several companies.

PROBLEM

Critical point-of-care environments (e.g. emergency rooms) request a new way to run high sensitivity blood tests within minutes and without incorporating a service lab.

SOLUTION‍

This startup is building an at-home health lab to enable continuous health monitoring using just a drop of blood. The test uses a small sample of peripheral blood (can be taken DIY at home) to test for various biomarkers with initial focus on human metabolism. Compared to the gold standard, their solution works with significantly smaller amounts of blood, while offering equivalent accuracy at a lower cost.
