Deepali Nangia is from Kolkata, India and began her career in investment banking at  Salomon Smith Barney in New York City and later in private equity at GE Equity. She holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Rochester and is a co-founder of Alma Angels, an investor community that supports female founders. In 2021, she won the UKBAA’s Angel Investor of the Year award. Since 2022, she has been a partner at Speedinvest. Nangia lives with her family  in London.
