Gernot founded immosuchmaschine – one of the leading meta-search engines for properties in Germany and Austria – in 2010 and exited to ImmoScout24 in 2018. Since 2020 he invested in 15 startups as a business angel and supports many others as mentor, e.g. at i2c of TU Wien, INiTS or Gründungsgarage. Gernot likes to open doors and to help others in taking a shortcut. He is an active member of the Austrian angel and startup scene, e.g. through invest.austria (or aaia before).
