PRIV.-DOZ. DR. MONIKA KÖPPL-TURYNA is director of EcoAustria. The 38-year-old economist earned her PhD at the University of Vienna in 2011 and was an assistant professor at the Lisbon University Institute until 2015. She then worked at Agenda Austria as a Senior Economist and became a Fellow of the Global Labour Organisation. Köppl-Turyna habilitated at Johannes Kepler University Linz in summer 2020. She has been named 5th most influential economist in Austria in Die Presse/FAZ/NZZ ranking.
