Francesco Monaca is a Visiting Analyst at Calm/Storm, and is very excited about the potential of breakthrough technologies in driving healthcare transformation. He is particularly interested in big data applications for predictive analytics in medicine and the advancement of personalised care solutions. Francesco holds a BSc in Biomedical Sciences and is completing his PhD in Neuroscience at the Francis Crick Institute and University College London. Prior to joining Calm/Storm, he interned at a London-based venture capital firm and co-chaired an entrepreneurship network aimed at educating scientists on the commercialisation potential of their research at the Crick Institute.Outside of venture, or the lab, Francesco is either exercising and running or planning his next escape to his seaside hometown in sunny Sicily.
