Richard Andrews (CEO) and Jose Santos (CTO) bring expertise in digital health and entrepreneurship. Richard founded Healios, the UK’s largest digital mental health clinic, and serves on the NHS Mental Health Network board. Jose co-founded Indivi, developing the first multiple sclerosis software as a medical device. Together, they are driving Univa's vision forward.
PROBLEM
Eating disorder services are strained, costly, and inaccessible, leaving many untreated despite 1 in 5 children being at risk. Mortality rates are off the charts.
SOLUTION
Univa provides dual apps for patients and carers, featuring personalized treatment programs and real-time updates. A co-pilot algorithm helps clinicians plan and monitor care, using patient data and clinical guidelines to create tailored programs to both the patient and the carers. Both apps work together to improve outcomes.
